With its magnificent listed domed exterior and breath taking marble staircase The Mitchell Library houses 4 main spaces for unforgettable weddings.
The Main Hall, the grandest of these spaces, has a stunning stained glass roof flanked by oak panelled walls.
The hugely atmospheric Burns Room houses one of the world's largest collection of Robert Burns poetry including an original manuscript of Auld Lang Syne and again is encased in stunning wood panelling.
On the same level the Jeffery Room has remarkable architecture and houses a large collection of priceless oil paintings.
Finally the Glasgow Room on the ground floor is the perfect setting for small intimate gathering within the same classic style as the other rooms.
The marble staircase which connects all 4 spaces makes for a sublime setting for wedding photography. The Mitchell Libraray can host wedding parties from 40 to 250.
